The division of cardiology at the Middle East Institute of Health has so far offered a wide range of clinical and non-invasive cardiac services.

The newest addition is a state-of-the-art invasive cardiology unit, staffed by highly qualified and experienced interventional cardiologists.

The catheterization laboratory will offer the finest and most modern imaging technology, and will provide a full array of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including: left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary angioplasty and stent procedures, and peripheral interventions.

The invasive unit will be linked to a modern coronary care unit, as well as a telemetry ward.

Patients treated within the division of cardiology will benefit from a comprehensive approach encompassing major areas of cardiovascular prevention and treatment. Our prevention team will help apply the latest principles in prevention, especially as they pertain to smoking cessation, diet, weight control, and exercise. Focused cardiac care will be delivered by specially trained and experienced nurses, under the supervision of a team of renowned cardiologists.
