On the day you arrive at M.E.I.H, you will be greeted by an admission and Registration officer.

Please bring with you:

• Personal identification card
• Admission slip filled by the admitting physician
• Insurance card or prior authorization form from the guarantor for non self payers
• Signed consent form (patient authorization for a service or procedure)

The admitting officer will issue you an admission form with your name; it will let you register on the floor.

Checking-out
A representative from the billing department will contact your room as soon as your bill is ready for payment, starting 10:00 a.m. The settlement of bills is made either in cash or by certified check only.
The patient could stay in his room for a maximum of one hour after the settlement of the bill.
